(TNS) Now that DoJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report on the FBI’s massive abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court has dropped, it’s aging pretty well among rational people who can read the evidence and made sound deductions based on them.
However, there is one group of people who are having a really hard time dealing with the facts and truths contained within the report: The Left-wing ‘establishment’ media.
In the days since the report dropped, the purveyors of propaganda have been working overtime to rewrite history in an attempt to substantiate claims that were wrong in 2016 and 2017 and, thanks to exposure by Horowitz, are just as wrong today.
Case in point: The propagandists for the Democrat Party and James Comey’s FBI miscreants are again trying to alternately claim that parts of the infamous (and oft-debunked) “dossier” written by former British spy Christopher Steele were indeed true and have been ‘verified’ by ‘intelligence sources.
Buzzfeed News, in particular, has been making this absurd claim, but why wouldn’t they? The garbage ‘news’ site was used by the deep state as a conduit to get the dossier into the public realm in January 2017 before President-elect Trump took office, after its uncorroborated contents were briefed to the incoming president, conveniently, by Comey.
This entire story is a lie from top to bottom, yet Buzzfeed still hasn’t retracted it. https://t.co/H32MVQDphM

Blumenthal: "[FISAs] are renewed because they are producing useful information, correct?"
IG: "Or they should be producing useful information."

The IG report confirms that the Steele memos did not trigger the investigation and were not the basis of the application for FISA surveillance on Page. A significant (and problematic) component of that application, yes. But the sole basis? No. This was and remains my point. https://t.co/ccbV4DBD4F

He’s 100 percent wrong, this Washington Post Harris guy.
I'm sorry to say – genuinely – that the contempt in which the media is held, as dangerous as that is, is fully deserved because of the type of behavior you're displaying now. I don't blame people for losing all faith and trust in our profession with things like this: pic.twitter.com/URbBP8HYbU

— Steele was an FBI asset and had been for some time.
— Steele’s dossier contained information from Russian sources — probably Russian intelligence courses — meaning he ‘colluded’ with Russia to help ‘steal the election.’
— Unsaid in all of this is that Steele was a professional spook so the notion that he might have been “duped” by Russian intelligence into including purposely false information about Trump in his dossier is far-fetched. So he willingly accepted the tripe that Putin’s intel guys were feeding him, thus providing the Russians an avenue — maybe even an unprecedented avenue — to disrupt a U.S. election.
— The Free Beacon co-founder Paul Singer initially contracted with Fusion GPS to find some dirt on Trump, but the Steele dossier was financed by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the DNC with money funneled to Fusion through the law firm of Perkins Coie.
— Comey’s FBI then “relied entirely” on a dossier they knew was false and uncorroborated to obtain FISA Court warrants to spy on Carter Page, a Trump campaign adviser.
The IG report conclusively found that U.S. intelligence officials had determined by January of 2017–when Buzzfeed published its article–that the Steele dossier was false and that Steele's own primary sub-source for it said it was nonsense: "corroboration was 'zero.'" pic.twitter.com/315qXklDaP

— The FBI contacted the CIA to find out if Page was an asset (why would the FBI ask — did someone simply have a ‘hunch’ or did they know the answer already?). The CIA told the FBI that yes, Page had been an asset between 2008-2013.
— An FBI lawyer left out that information as the bureau was preparing to file its FISA Court warrants to spy on Page.
— At some point, Barack Obama is getting briefed on all of this — which means his director of national intelligence, James Clapper, and his CIA director, John Brennan, would be in the loop. Did either of those guys tell Comey that his surveillance subject, Page, was a CIA asset?
— At no point since this scandal became public did Brennan admit that Page was an asset, despite regular appearances on the cable news networks; we had to wait for Horowitz’s report to confirm it. Why?

The garbage media’s ongoing lies about the dossier is a clear attempt to continue obfuscating and hiding the facts; no wonder Trump calls them ‘enemies of the people.’
But worse is the fact that these lying hacks continue to contribute to the unraveling of our civil society, as Americans divided between Left and Right are at each other’s throats already.
